Hideaway Loft is a self-catering, thatched cottage within Hadrian’s Wall Country, Cumbria. The property provides access to the Lake District, the Pennines and the Scottish Borders. It features an enchanting garden with cottage garden style, surrounding stone walls, grottos, water and other quirky features. Willow arches protect a peaceful sitting glade beside a rill and pond, and there are various seating areas around the garden. The host, Christine, won Gold Awards in the Cumbria in Bloom 2022 & 2023 competitions, (Tourism category) , the Gold Award for Cumbria Tourist Board Chairman’s Trophy, Silver Gilt Awards for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Special Award (2022) and King Charles 111 Coronation Feature (2023)
This self-catering cottage provides an environment which is as safe and secure as possible where guests can stay (e.g. when Covid-19 pandemic restrictions were in place) without mixing or socialising with other people. Access is by self-entry, and it is maintained to a high standard at all times.
